TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING WITH THE POWDER ROOM
- Upon booking a 7 day cooling off period from the date the deposit has been paid applies (less 30% administration fee)
- Deposit is non refundable for cancellation of bookings within six (6) months of wedding date.
- If services for your wedding are cancelled within one (1) month of the wedding date a late cancellation fee of $100.00 per stylist will apply.
(This fee is on top of your non refundable deposit)
- If cancelled outside the six (6) month period, deposit will be refunded less a 30% administration fee.
- Should services be cancelled on the day of the wedding a full charge of all services will apply.
- Should you change your Wedding date within the 6 months prior to the original Wedding date your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required,
as Powder Room only books one Wedding per stylist per Wedding day.
Eg. Wedding date originally 15 Sept and changed to Oct 6th, original deposit is forfeited.
Should the Wedding date be changed outside the six (6) month period, the original deposit is transferable however a 30% administration fee is charged.
- If there are two (2) separate stylists booked for your Wedding and you cancel one (1) stylist/service within the six (6) months prior to your wedding, half of the deposit is non refundable and
forfeited towards the final payment on the wedding day. Example: $200.00 deposit paid - securing two stylists. Upon cancellation of one (1) stylist - $100.00 is retained by the cancelled stylist.
- 72 hours notice must be given prior to cancellation/rescheduling of hair/makeup trial, failure to do so will result in a full cancellation fee being charged at 100% of the cost of the trial.
- Any changes to the originally booked trial date will incur an administration fee of $20.00 per change.
- Any payments made by credit card other than initial deposit will incur a 2.2% surcharge. (Deposit is exempt)
- A minimum of three (3) adults is required for both hair and make up. Example 3 hair and 3 make up per booking. Should the number of adults change below our minimum requirement, a surcharge
of $95.00 per person, per service will apply. If one stylist is booked that does both hair and make up 3 hair and 3 make up services are required (6 services)
Example; If you have only 2 adults for both hair and make up a surcharge of $190.00 will apply.
- Surcharges are not applicable if Wedding party is coming to our studio in New Farm, however surcharges will apply if services at our studio are cancelled and less than one Week’s notice is given.
- Final payment by cash only if made on wedding day, except if Bridal Party is coming to New Farm studio.
- Any hair and makeup trials exceeding 3.5 hours will be charged at a further $95.00 per hour.
- Any separate hair or makeup trials exceeding 2 hours will be charged at a further $95.00 per hour.
- Pre payments can only be made one week prior to your wedding day.
- Please note that a booking is not secured without payment of deposit.
- Prices may be subject to change for quotes, bookings with confirmed deposits will stay at the quoted price.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice from time to time at our sole discretion.
- Powder Guarantee is only valid if full deposit is paid, not valid for trial deposits.
