…especially bridal hair and wedding day make up, being such a"girly girl" and a total product junkie! The most amazing thing is that each woman is an individual and unique canvas. I like getting to know “how they met” and “how he proposed”…it’s so romantic and helps us to design your hair and make up to suit your individual style.

The idea to create The Powder Room as a bridal hair and make up studio was born from a vision while working and running a high-end beauty studio in Chelsea, London. I came back to Brisbane, Queensland with my husband and business partner Paul, and started The Powder Room studio. Paul is a talented photographer and specialises in corporate, fashion and beauty photography. He has created the stunning images of The Powder Room gorgeous bridal styles for more than 10 years.

We realised that Brisbane was coming-of-age as a stylish, fashion savvy city and we decided to put together a team of professional hair and make up artists. Our mobile wedding, bridal and formal hair and make up team is a delight and I am so proud of the talent and passion we have with our hairstylists and makeup artists.  The Powder Room love transforming a lovely bride on her wedding day. There is so much joy and laughter in The Powder Room day.
